OOC: 'Tis okay. BIC:
"That would be fantastic." Pyral nodded, trying to look enthusiastic. "It's great to know what's going on outside the cave sometimes, you know? Meet new people, see new places." Shut up, dork. Pyral kicked herself mentally, feeling that by now the black dragon probably thought she was some useless, empty-headed creature. Well, let him. As long as he doesn't think I'm anything more.
"So, what've you been up to since you left me with my friend?" She gestured to show she could fly to the other two dragons and talk at once. "Nothing I'd hate to miss out on, I hope."
OOC: Well, that...stank.

A pale figure appeared on the horizon, swiftly approaching the mountain. Tala growled as she saw the three dragons. It would have made things easier if there was only one, that she could take care of. Her whip-like tail lashed the air, the orange-red spike on the tip gleamed in the light as she swung it dangerously. Fury glinted madly in her slitted eyes as she sped up, her wings flapping swiftly. The mountain loomed before her, its peak high above her own flight path. The Pyrahyc Dragon snorted as she scented the air. The ashen stench of a Royal Dragon wafted in the air, accompanied by the metallic scent of a Bronze Dragon. She circled the mountain, trying to find the entrance to the cave where the other dragons were.

ooc- Hope you don't mind if I godmode alittle, if you don't I can change it.
Right as Smoak went to reply, he pushed Fyrah hard on the shoulder, sending her hurtiling towards the cave. "Get inside!" He hissed at the retreating figure. Smoak had seen the glint from the mysterious drake's tail spike. Not knowing the dragon, he naturally was wary. And the tail spike didn't help, either. Whipping around, he darted into a smaller cave that was dark, away from the sunlight. Perfect. The new drake was even in sight. So far he had been getting lucky with seeing dragons. But Smoak never counted on luck. It always ran out.

Tala swivelled her head from side to side. A flicker of movement caught her eye. She peered at the approaching cave, trying to find out what had moved. She saw a glint as the black dragon came into view and then disappeared. She surmised that it had disappeared into another part of the cave. A curse slipped from her clenched jaws, and she quickly veered to one side to avoid being seen. She furled her wings and dived, neatly landing on a ledge to the side of the cave entrance. She waited until there was no movement that she could see from the cave. She then slowly strode into the cave, peering about with her icy blue eyes. She couldn't see any movement in the shadows, so she stood there, muscles tensed.

OOC: It's alright...this time. BIC:
Where do they come from? What do they want?
Dragons..
A blue-feathered phoenix moved restlessly, hearing, feeling, smelling the dragons come from all directions. All different kinds of dragons, but all dragons. All...Evil.
I will kill you all some day. Then...Then we can live in peace.
Laevythan had only to wait until the sun set...Then she could leave this place, and take with her the growing grudge that pulsed inside of her...
OOC: Because I absolutely STINK at villans, would ANYONE like this character?

((Nah, I stink at good and evil. Neutral charries are the only ones I know how to RP. Ones that still have a chance at being good...))

OOC: Me too. Good or Neutral. I'm sure with a better muse I could do evil, but...Ya know. Muses are hard to find these days, and one of the ones I had a solid grip on was just borrowed by my cousin, so yeah...I'm in trouble. *in the background* I need my movieeeee!

Smoak had watched as the drake flew in and out of sight. A wary one.. he thought. This might actually been a challenge. Oh well, only one way to find out. Stepping out of the small crevice, he watched as the dragon entered the cave. The cave with Mentazyl, Gaelen, and Pyral. Taking a deep breath, he began to fill the role that had been plopped on him by company of others.
"Dragon! Come out and face me!" As he said it, Smoak leapt off of the ground and landed on a spire that went up about fifty feet from the ground, but was still visible from the cave. "Show yourself, Dragon!"
ooc- Sorry about the g-moding... and I suppose the sun was starting to set, so the ebil pheonix can come out....

Tala gazed calmly at the Royal Dragon that challenged her. "Indeed, I will show myself." She replied, lunging out of the cave and catching a thermal. She turned and faced the Black Dragon. "Now, what more do you ask of me?" She asked, her eyes glittering with a malicious fury. Her tail started to swing back and forth, slowly and dangerously.

Pyral knew a dangerous and unbalanced scene when she saw one, and she wasn't about to sit still. Interference was something she did often and well...
She slipped from the cave, climbing up the rock face using only her claws while keeping her wings folded along her back. Subtle, subtle, NOT SO SUBTLE! She threw herself from the rock, sweeping toward the two on an updraft and coming to a halt beside Smoak, hovering for lack of room. They both looked at though they meant business.
"HOLD IT." She barked, lashing her tail out behind her. She glanced between them, glaring. "Would it be so very terrible to ask exactly why you two are getting ready to chew on each others throats? Truly, I thought these battles were over when the clan-wars ended! We need allies, not enemies!" She huffed out a small shower of sparks, indignant. "Really, you're acting like a pair of hatchlings!"

"He challenged me. I did not wish to fight, but he challenged and I obeyed. And I mind being commanded by another very much... " Tala retorted. "I am Tala. And you two are...?" She fervently hoped in a dim corner of her mind that her name hasn't been heard of so far south. ((You can have said that you heard of her, if you want...))

OOC: It's more fun when people are oblivious.
Pyral held out a claw for Tala to take. "I'm Fyrah." She inclined her head at the Black Dragon. "And this loose fireball is Smoak." She shook her head. "Really, Smoak. Where are your manners?" She shrugged it off with a relaxed smile. "But, hey. Now that we're done being nasty, why don't we go down and meet the rest of the group? Even I'm a stranger right now."
OOC: That post kind of stank...(By the way, 'loose fireball' is the equivalent of a 'loose cannon.')

Smoak snorted, a bland ball of smoke coming out of his nostril. "I only asked her to come out, Fyrah." The dragon said it in a strange way. "Nothing else. You heard me yourself." His orange eyes peered at the dragoness. Tala. Now where have I heard that name before? No matter how hard he racked his mind, he could not trace where he had heard the name from or what about it puzzled him. Oh well. He thought, shrugging.

((Maybe I should help him out? "The killer of a whole clan of Pyrahyc Dragons?"))
"Indeed, he only asked me to come out. And I came. Have you heard that a whole clan of Pyrahyc dragons were killed? No one knows who did it..." She asked, hoping that the others hadn't already heard of her exploits. No one would suspect a dragon of telling of her murders.

"A whole clan?!" Pyral gasped, her eyes widening. So that was what went wrong! When a series of life lights blinked out rather suddenly, it had hurt. Badly. And now she knew why - A whole clan. Dead. Murdered. "Great Goddess, so that's what went wrong...I saw the Security Drakes flocking somewhere, but I didn't know what had happened." She shuddered. "But if they don't find the killer, Pyral will." Of course I will...And I'll make them sorry. Life is not for mortals to take...
OOC: Sorreh, short post...*writersblocketh*
