"Smoak!" Menzatyl was appalled that the black dragon could show such disrespect to an elder. "How could you be so rude?! And to answer your questions, I came out here because a dragon in Pyc mentioned Gaelen and I decided to come out here and meet him. Also, I figured I could get two deer with one flame because the tunnel leads past here. It sort of mounds above the ground slightly."
ooc- where do you want to have the end of the tunnel be? aka: where Menzatyl catches up with Kolschni and persuades him to not give his report to his boss and to not get himself killed.

ooc- wherever.
bic- The black dragon shrugged. "I just asked a question." Smoak sighed and closed his eyes. The large form leaned back against the rock wall, for all appearances relaxed. But this dragon never relaxed.

Pyral eyed a small group, leaning closer to get a better look at it. Familiar life lights were what drew her attention to it, one dark, one bright, and two completely new. If they hadn't been dragons she'd seen before, the little gathering would never have caught her eye, but as it was...
Menzatyl? Smoak? More or less the only two Pyrallians she knew were here? At one time? What are you up to...? She peered at them, thoughtful. Of course, from here she could only watch, not listen. And to Pyral, listening was rather important.
She turned and plucked a life model from where it sat in the stars, turning it over in her claws. It was still slightly damaged from its last usage in a windstorm, but perhaps the mark would give it a bit more character. After all, Golden Dragons were easy to hurt, even if this one had a touch of Pyro in it. Guise of Fyrah, and I'm all set. She set it down delicately a few miles off, out of sight of the others. She cracked a small smile. It had been a short time ago that she'd entered Pyrallis, but it was just as fun every time.
A spinning vortex around her, and she was plummeting towards the desert, the ground thrusting itself into her face. Dust and sky flashed and swirled around her, and then, from the blue, a stiff, uncomfortable stillness.
She blinked her dry eyes a few times and stretched out the cramped, disused limbs. Her wings especially - couldn't have those freezing up on her. Needles pricked her entire body as feeling entered it, and before long even her tail was aching. She stretched and rolled in the sand, cleaning and exercising at the same time. The Fyrah model had been sitting still for too long, and desperately needed to move and be properly broken in.
Better The thought came ten minutes later, when the last bit of discomfort was gone. It was as comfortable as a mortal body could get. Now, Menzatyl, we see what it is you're doing here. She stretch her tough, leathery wings above her head and tightened her legs, simultaneously pushing off the ground and swiping her wings downwards. Air rushed by her muzzle, caressing the golden scales as she cut through the air.
And what a brilliant day for a Goddess to take a joy flight...

Before Menzatyl could reply, though, Smoak shot up. "Everybody get down and stay quiet." He looked directly at the female. "And that includes you, Menzatyl. We are not alone." Standing upright, he crawled to the edge of the cave, everything tense. As his oragne eyes shrank to slits, they widened again. Fyrah. Pyral. Not what would she be doing here? Coming out of the crouched position, he looked back at the dragons behind him.
"I know the drake that's out there. Everyone stay in here. I'll be right back." Without waiting for the others to reply, Smoak spread his black wings and launched himself into the air, his dark body thinned out to allow for more speed. As he neared Fyrah/Pyral, he wondered if he should say that he knows her sercet. No. Not now. I will when the time comes. Pulling up shortly, the black drake began to circle the red dragon. "Fyrah!"

"Smoak!" Pyral kept her voice and body easy and relaxed. "What are you doing here?" She back-flapped, hovering while he circled around her. "Not that it's bad, just unexpected." She glanced over to Menzatyl and the other, older, larger dragon beside her. "Who're your friends?" She gave a mental sigh, finding this small talk a drab but necessary waste of time. After all, she couldn't risk another mortal knowing who she was. And Smoak was a sharp Pyrallian - she had to act as normal as she possibly could.
Great Mother, if anyone else finds out, the lessers might turn on me. She knew Gyulim or Fylegio probably wouldn't be inclined to fight, and Kordymi would stick by her no matter, but Hycroun...On her own, the goddess was only weaker than Pyral, and if Byrion joined her, the darkling Goddess would be unstoppable. She did control almost half of Pyrallis, and the only reason she wasn't running the world was because she had so many opposer's and so few supporters. If Hycroun started a fight and weakened or killed Pyrallian believers, there was a good chance that the ice goddess would win, and then...Pyral didn't even want to think about what would happen.

If Smoak had any eyebrows, they would be raised. The goddess was trying to act normal. Obviously she had not been out often. He sighed. "My 'friends' are Menzatyl and Gaelen. Would you like to meet them?"
ooc- Sorry so short!
