This far better and far more developed story was written by Smoak, and no-one else my use it without his consent.
In The Beginning,
There was Mycera. She was the Goddess of the gods, and was the one who brought to life every being of celestial origin. Her name came to mean Mother in Pyrallian, which was truly fitting for her. Her companion god was called Haeros, which came to mean Mighty One. Together they made the universe, created gods to rule it, and started the ever-lasting clock called time.
The first two of their childeren were Pyral and Hycroun, opposites in their own right. Since Mycera and Haeros were the Gods of the Stars and the Universe, why not make their first borns be the gods of heavenly beings? Pyral for the sun, Hycroun for the moon; sun for fire, moon for ice. Opposites.
As Pyral and Hycroun grew, Mycera and Haeros created more Gods. Next there was Kordymi, Pyral's closest assistant and maker of forms, and Gyulim, God of land.
After Pyral and Hycroun created the Earth, in the very beginning, The Mother and Father knew that much warring would go one if there was not more. So Fyleigo, god of Plants, and Byrion, God of the air, were created.
After the earth had been inhabited, and thriving, Mycera and Haeros retreated to the unknown, probably to create more worlds. But, by the time humans were developing their artificial lives, The Mother and Father of time had completely vanished, not to return until the weak human race began to think to highly of themselves.
At the time of the human apocolypse, Mycera and Haeros returned. They wiped out the human race with one swoop and instructed their children in the beginning of Dragons and pheonixes. They left after that. Now the world is left to the six gods, with power over everything. When will the Mother and Father of Creation come back? Only when the young gods themselves begin to perish in their own flames.
