Put character applications here before doing ANYTHING else on this site. Note: In case there is some confusion, characters are, more or less, all dragons and phoenix. You may be something else, but if so you also might have to settle with a short life span.

Alongside the Hyc River Bed is the town of Pyrio, larger than anything in the Southern Valley. Here there are many phoenix and creatures of that kidney, they seem to make up the general populace. This is also the prominent worshipping place of Kordymi, and a temple to her in her pheonix form is here, though of course THE temple to her isn't... South or east to the river, south to Pyrsh, southest to the Ash Forest. North to Mt. Py, northeast to Pyrin and Pycrynio, east to Pyrn.

South of the great, dry, Hyc River bed is the city of Pyrin, a sprawling but grimy place, where the populace is large and the standards of living are low. Poverty is not uncommon, and denizens often have to work all day and night to support themselves and what families they have. Some say it was cursed by Hycroun, for it is located at the western edge of the great, cold Ash Forest… North to Pyrio, the river bed, and Mt. Py. Northeast to Pycrynio, Pyrin, and Pyrn. East to the Ash Forest.

Farther, much farther, east of Pyrsh, this city nevertheless resembles it in nearly every way. It is farther from the forest and the great, dry riverbed than the other, so less defensible, and we all know how much of a target a sprawling, great city makes... Northwest to Pyrin, Pycrymio, and Mt. Pyr. West to Pyrio, southwest to Pyrsh.

Not poor, nor particularly wealthy, the city of Pyrin is exposed on all sides to all manner of attacks, from ordinary banditry to full assault? Why live there? It's not to large, not to small, and a better class of life is offered than in, say, Pyrsh. West to Mt. Py, southwest to Pyrio and Pyrsh. South and slightly west to Pycrymio, south and east to Pyrn.

A sprawling metropolis, the largest city in all or Pyrallis, though 'city' in the draconian sense and not the human one. Rich, full of life, and prospering greatly, the majority of this place is healty and middle to upper class. In fact, the city itself is sacred, and to attack it? An act of blasphemy, sacrelige of the worst kind! The city is a sanctuary, any who would raise arms against it would be condemned forever to the icy hells of Hycroun! The major temples to all gods and goddess are found here... Northeast to Pyrin, northwest to Mt. Py. Southeast to Pyrn, southwest to Pyrio and Pyrsh.

It rises high and cold, dead white against the lively fires of Pyrallis. Created, perhaps, by Hycroun as an insult to Pyral herself, this is a burned-out forest of dead trees that loom like pale ghosts. Mammals hide here, for dragons and pheonix avoid it...

Looming like the Ash Forest is the fearsome Mt. Py, a jagged fang in a stark landscape. It's fiery contounance actually reassures those who see it, for it is said to be the home of the gods, the place from which they watch over the mortals of Pyrallis... A very active volcano, and let us leave it at that, hm?

No New Posts Hyc River Bed

Winding through the middle of the Northern Region, the Hyc River Bed is described in many ways, a great, canyonlike dry thing that villages could get lost in. No water has graced it for centuries, but it is still said to be a placed cursed by the cold of Hycroun, and remarkable superstitions surround the fate of those who venture there after dark.

Southern Valley

No New Posts Pyc

On the edge of the valley, perches the tiny town of Pyc. Town, of course, not in the human sense, but in the sense of a populated area in general. On its east side, it is bordered by a chain of mountains, possibly volcanic, and to the west is the rest of the valley. South to Pyn and Pys, southwest to Pyr, and west to Pyh. North and east of it is the Pyrin Ash Forest.

On the south and east side of this town, the mountains hug it like a favorite child, but it's north and west edges are exposed. Trading might be a good for this place, unless the mountains decide to be plentiful, and those peaks don't look to friendly. Pyral only knows how they survive, except they must be fairly safe from attacks with that natural barrier at their backs. West to Pys, northwest to Pyr and Pyh, and north to Pyc and the Ash Forest.

Located just west of the center of the Southern Valley, Pyr is exposed on all sides, which means they'd better be pretty darn powerful, or able to keep on good terms with their neighbors, because they're exposed on all sides. People come here to trade from all over the Valley, it having a larger commerce market than any other Southern Village. South to Pys, southeast to Pyn, east to Pyc, northeast to Pyh, and due north the the Ash Forest.

No New Posts Pyh

Just off the great, dead, Pyrin Ash Forest, lurks the town of Pyh, a small affair that doesn't have much to do with it's neighbors. Not very populated, it is kind of spread out, a village only in the sense that all of the dwellings are clumped together. Just north to the Ash Forest, south to the edge of the mountains. Southeast to Pyr, Pyn, and Pys, and east to Pyc.

Like Pyn, this town is easily defensible and hugged by the great southern mountain chain- a small, condensed village that is known for it's devout worship of Pyral. To be frank, all the villages worship her, but the most fervent priests and followers tend to originate here. Why? No one knows... East to Pyn, northeast to Pyc, northwest to Pyh, due north to Pyr and the Pyrin Ash Forest.

No New Posts Pyrin Ash Forest

Seeping sinously into the Southern Valley is a section of the dead and cold Pyrin Ash Forest. If there was any place a mammal would hide, it would be here, for the fires rarely burn and fiery creatures tend to avoid it. Hycroun herself is said to rule this place, certainly it's denizens worship her more than any other creature...
